    Finally, thin crust pizza done right in the state of FL. Just when I thought it didn't exist, I came here with a friend at her recommendation. On a weekend night, this is your typical "drunk pizza stop" that everyone visits after the clubs let out. Don't let that fool you, these guys make amazing pizza and it reminds me of those classic corner-store pizzerias I knew and loved in New Jersey.

    This little place has the yummiest pizza! The slices are gigantic, and always tasty! The guys working there are fast and helpful. Perfect spot for a quick bite to eat. I highly recommend the white pie with ricotta.

    Great spot courteous staff and awesome pizza. The most new yorkesque pizza I've had this far south. Slices are large usually 2 plates and there's always a wide variety choices. I'm always good for a slice and the pasta salad.

    If you're looking for a quick slice of thin crust pie this is the place to go. Since discovering it I find myself going to DHOP at least once a month for pizza that never fails to satisfy! All the guys appear to be hard at work spinning dough, serving up slices and ringing ya up all while standing next to that burning hot oven. Gotta give them some credit for that. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. They even have salads and desserts to choose from. If you are in downtown Ft. Myers you cannot skip out on the house of pizza!

    Hands down THE most NY slice you will find! Fold away!!! I grew up on Long Island and I am extremely picky about calling a slice a NY slice. This is it! Good price, good service, fast and worth the trip! 100% my pizza choice! The rest are just "fast food pizza".

    Huge pieces of pizza and fun atmosphere. There are a few places to sit inside as well as some tables out back on the Patio de Leon. Very busy during downtown events, but well worth it! It's cheap and delicious, great pizza for sure. The pizza slices are large, it's thin crust, and the cheese and toppings are great too! They have some yummy looking salads and desserts as well, though I didn't try any of them.

    This is downtown Fort Myers BEST pizza - end of line! There are very few places I can say that are worth trying and returning - this is one of them. Great quality slices, pies and desserts - downtown pizza has you covered. It might be a bit warm inside but once you start eating, it will be worth it. Give them a try today

    The perfect dinner experience. The place is amazing to look at. So much detail put into every from tables to pictures on the wall. If want to feel a true urban dinning this place is great. I was surprised at their pizzas being very different what I was expecting. We had a honey flavored pizza and it was outstanding. Their beer selection is fun to try and I gave a coffee flavored beer a try and it was great. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because they did run out beers and their pizza of the week was gone. I will for sure be back to this place soon.

    Nothing fancy, but this is the best pizza you'll find in SWFL. Take your paper plates out back to the picnic tables and you might be lucky enough to soak up some live music from the adjacent club. Be forewarned: This is a pizza place and nothing more. No chicken, no fish, no salad. They focus on one thing and succeed to a "T".

    If you are from eastern Pennsylvania or from south jersey, this is where you should get pizza! It was hot, fresh, greasy, and absolutely delicious! I went during the art walk downtown, so it was super busy, but the staff worked very hard to move the line quickly and they were successful. The only downside is that their eating area is small, but their pizza is great to take to go and walk around downtown with a slice. I went back for a second slice later in the evening because it was so good.

    I looked this place up and it had really good reviews, so me and my husband went here to eat we ordered the calzone I got mine how it comes but added mushrooms to it and my husband just wanted cheese and pepperoni in his. So we sat and waited for our food . We finally received our food I was very disappointed the calzone had very little mushrooms in it part of it was still uncooked so was my husbands there were parts in his that were not cooked all the way. The sauce that went with it was way to sweet and had too much basil in it. I like basil but there was just to much added to the sauce. I'm sorry to say but we will not be going here again.

    Great pizza, fast n inexpensive. Ordered a slice pepperoni n sausage pizza. A slice tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms n feta cheese pizza. A pepperoni cheese pinwheel. 3 garlic knots/rolls. All that for $10.00. Perfect for quick lunch or snack.

    Best pizza EVER! I've called ahead and ordered. I've gone many times for lunch. I've gone many times after a night out dancing. You get in and out very quickly. I will never get tired of their pizza. They have many variety or you can order one to go. Big slices! They have beer and wine if you want some of that. Their salads and desserts are pretty good too. I cannot say one bad thing other than it's HOT when you walk in.

    "Homey with a side of..." Great pizza joint! Massive pizzas with fresh ingredients. Sliced pieces of sausage, large cuts of tomatoes... Delicious!Cold pasta salad is a memory in a plastic dish-just like grandmas! Cannolis and brownies are decents ($3.50) and will satisfy your sweet tooth. Be warned they have a side cabinet on their counter with random personal hygiene items including trogans-not in best taste thats for sure...

    My nephew demanded Downtown Pizza after an eight mile bike and four mile hike on Sanibel. A jumbo size fed a hungry family of four at a decent economical price. Sit outside in the square for a cozy ambiance and a live blues musician tearing it up in the bar next store. Will be back to feed this growing boy his favorite Ft. Myers meal.

    As someone who has spent extensive time in NJ, NYC, and New Haven (all self proclaimed pizza "hot spots", for better or worse), I've had my fair share of really good slices. I don't know what these guys at Downtown Pizza do, but their plain slice is as good as I've had anywhere. Simple, tasty, cheesy and delicious crispy crust. I thought about knocking them a star since apparently their late night pies cost $25(!), but damn, if you do something well, don't ever give it away for free. 5 stars, definitely grab a late night slice here. If I ever wind up making the move to Fort Myers from Jersey, expect to see me here very frequently.

    great piping hot cheesy pizza with an awesome crust - hits that pizza craving perfectly. The bonus here is the absolute nicest staff and never been in a cleaner restaurant. You can tell this is a team effort and there is great pride in the food and service. Been here 40 or 50 times at least and never had a bad experience...consistently great. Plus they are open early and late..you can always grab a slice!

    Mother of God, this pizza pie is amazing!! I'm from Illinois and could completely rationalize eating here every single day when I'm in town. They sell it by the slice, and the next time I'm in, I plan to stuff suitcases with slices just to hold me over. That was only moderately sarcastic.

    Good Pizza, will probably order fresh pie next time, we bought by the slice which of course not as good a fresh pie. Friendly staff, no frill kind of place. Casual atmosphere, no table service. Deserts good too according to wife and son. They had Red Velvet and Cheesecake. Son had Meatball sandwich and said good.

    Honestly, the pizza is awesome!! We order every kind of pizza for work parties. My favorite is tomato basil!! Yum!! But when I finally visited in person, the place was disgusting (creepy crawlies). I can not, in good conscience, eat there, but I will always remember how good their pizza is.

    This is a great place to head after the clubs close. If you ask for fresh basil, they can put it on after they take it out of the oven. The pizza is worth the dough. ;-) You miss the 5th star because you always run out of condiments, napkins etc. Is this deluxe and gourmet, no. But, you get the advantage here because I have only eaten here with a buzzzzzzzz. LOL

    This pizza is delicious NY style. Staff is nice. I had a slice of the meat (pepperoni, sausage, ham) and it was fantastic. My hubs got two different slices of white pizza and it was good for white but I personally love sauce.

    Awesome new york style Pizza. The Pizza here has a great taste, they must use higher quality ingredients than the average pizza place. Prices are also great, and I never have to wait for what I want. Only downside is the parking. It's right in the middle of downtown and there is practically no parking for any business. You've got about 100 businesses there, and like one or two spots out front to park.

    I tried the white and the everything pizza. White was great, nice amount of garlic. They crumble their sausage which makes a big difference. Crust was great, perfect. Best pizza in fort Myers so far.

    The kind of pizza that sounds crispy when you fold it in half. Perfect crust and quality toppings. The sauce was the perfect consistency. One slice was plenty for me. Don't go for the atmosphere because expect bar seating and serve yourself soft drinks but if you're looking for really tasty New York style pizza by the slice this is my favorite choice. A nice afternoon in downtown Fort Myers experience. Two people can eat for less than $15.
